Job summary

RecruitFirst Pte. Ltd is seeking a confident Restaurant Captain for a luxury dining venue in Singapore. You will lead warm, attentive service, guide guests through the menu, and ensure a seamless luxury dining experience from greeting to farewell.

You will oversee the service flow, maintain impeccable standards, handle guest feedback with professionalism, and collaborate with the team to deliver premium beverage service including coffee and cocktails.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Captain, Senior Service Crew, Senior Waiter/Waitress, or similar role in fine dining, luxury hospitality, hotels, or premium F&B environments.
• Strong knowledge and passion for food, beverages, and service excellence.
• Confident communication and guest engagement skills.
• Able to remain calm, composed, and service-focused in a fast-paced environment.
• A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver warm, attentive, and personalised service, ensuring guests receive a seamless luxury dining experience.
• Guide guests through the menu and provide knowledgeable recommendations based on their preferences.
• Confidently present and explain dishes and beverages, ensuring guests have a memorable and engaging dining experience.
• Oversee the service flow from greeting to farewell, maintaining high standards even during busy service periods.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and impeccable dining environment in line with luxury service standards.
• Handle guest feedback and requests with professionalism, empathy, and ownership, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
• Support daily opening and closing operations, including restaurant setup, service preparation, and floor readiness.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, mocktails, and alcoholic drinks.
• Work closely with the team to maintain consistent service standards and smooth floor operations.
