Job summary

The Fullerton Bay Hotel in Singapore is seeking a capable supervisor to assist the Manager in running the operation and ensuring courteous service to guests. You will supervise staff, monitor safety, and coordinate with Chef and beverage department on promotions and upselling.

You will ensure food and drinks meet standards, maintain mise-en-place, and support training and audits per Forbes Travel Guide and the hotel's service quality protocols.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Forbes Travel Guide service standards.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for diplomacy with staff and guests.
• Strong planning and organisational abilities to run a streamlined operation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager to run the operation and provide courteous service to all guests.
• Supervise staff and ensure all F&B service phases meet standards.
• Ensure drinks and dishes follow menu and wine list specs and are served at correct temperatures.
• Check daily restaurant prep, mise-en-place, table settings, and cleanliness of linen, equipment and staff appearance.
• Monitor safety regulations and conduct daily staff briefings and occupancy reviews.
• Conduct staff appraisals and discipline as needed.
• Inspect the outlet for cleanliness and proper setup, and maintain equipment and fixtures.
• Attend to guests promptly and address complaints with corrective action.
• Coordinate with Chef and beverage department on promotions and upselling.
