Job summary

Stafflink Services Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned Logistics Coordinator in Singapore to manage shipments, coordinate with freight forwarders, and ensure compliance with trade regulations. The role requires working with carriers, insurers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and accurate records.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in Logistics or related field, at least 5 years in freight/logistics, and familiarity with Incoterms 2020.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or related discipline.
• 5 years of experience in freight, logistics coordination or trade operations.
• Working knowledge of marine cargo insurance and claims handling.
• Familiarity with Incoterms 2020.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP HANA / SAP Business One experience is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel overseas occasionally for business trips.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders, shipping lines and carriers across sea, air and land.
• Negotiate freight rates and service terms, and benchmark rates to ensure cost competitiveness.
• Track shipments end-to-end and resolve delays, discrepancies and operational issues promptly.
• Evaluate and select carriers based on cost, transit time, reliability and compliance, and maintain the approved carrier list.
• Ensure compliance with trade regulations, customs requirements and Incoterms.
• Coordinate with relevant parties to manage and resolve cargo claims.
• Serve as the operational point of contact for internal sales affiliates, managing order intake and fulfilment coordination.
• Monitor sales orders and purchase orders across affiliates, identify demand patterns and flag potential supply constraints.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports on order status, shipment progress and outstanding issues.
• Work closely with affiliates to manage order processing and resolve PO discrepancies accurately and promptly.
• Support other logistics, trade operations and ad-hoc activities as assigned.
