Job summary

Antares Management Services seeks an experienced Logistics Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and lead a team of warehouse personnel in Loyang, Singapore. You will ensure all activities are carried out safely and efficiently, meeting timelines, quality standards and customer requirements, while managing stock, transport schedules and warehouse systems.

Qualifications

• GCE N/O Levels or NITEC or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of warehouse operations experience.
• Experience supervising a warehouse or logistics team is required.
• Possess Class 3 and Class 4 driving licences.
• Knowledge of SAP or WMS and basic MS Office.

Job Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Logistics Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and lead a team of warehouse personnel.

You will ensure that all warehouse activities are carried out safely and efficiently while meeting operational timelines, quality standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse, cargo-handling and delivery activities.
• Lead, allocate work to and monitor the performance of warehouse personnel.
• Conduct staff induction, operational briefings and on-the-job guidance.
• Ensure goods are received, stored, handled and dispatched securely and accurately.
• Coordinate cargo-handling schedules, deliveries, transhipment and transloading activities.
• Monitor inventory, storage utilisation, stock movements and transaction documentation.
• Coordinate stocktaking and asset-management activities.
• Manage time-sensitive, temperature-sensitive and dangerous goods in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor operational performance and resolve warehouse quality or service issues.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health requirements.
• Conduct basic risk assessments and identify areas of non-compliance.
• Investigate operational incidents and support corrective and preventive measures.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on operational requirements.
• Address service lapses and assist with escalated customer issues.
• Identify and implement process and productivity improvements.
• Promote the effective use of warehouse systems, technology and electronic tools.

Requirements

• GCE N/O Levels, NITEC or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant warehouse operations experience.
• Prior experience supervising or leading a warehouse or logistics team is required.
• Possess valid Class 3 and Class 4 driving licences.
• Basic knowledge of SAP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Proficient in basic Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.
• Willing to perform overtime when operationally required.
• Forklift licence is preferred.
• Vigilant, decisive and able to communicate effectively in an operational environment.
