in Singapore West region is seeking an Assistant / Operations Supervisor to lead warehouse teams, drive operational performance, and ensure smooth and safe daily logistics execution. The role focuses on achieving KPIs and SLAs, overseeing 5S/Kaizen/Lean initiatives, managing inventory with WMS and SAP, coaching staff, and coordinating with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver seamless service.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
• 2-3 years of warehouse/logistics experience.
• Prior team leadership or warehouse supervision.
• Experience with WMS and SAP.
• Strong leadership, communication, and people management.
• Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, Lean, or continuous improvement.
• Willing to work 12-hour night shifts on a rotating 5-day schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Logistics Assistants and Team Leaders in daily warehouse operations.
• Drive the team to achieve KPIs, SLAs, and operational targets.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, SOPs, and operational procedures.
• Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Monitor staff performance, conduct coaching, and support performance appraisals.
• Train and develop new Logistics Assistants on operational processes and procedures.
• Plan and monitor team performance, providing coaching and counselling where required.
• Lead 5S, Kaizen, Lean, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational excellence.
• Ensure effective communication of departmental changes and operational updates to the team.
• Manage inventory using WMS and customer SAP systems, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
• Ensure billing activities are completed accurately and on time with the necessary supporting documentation.
• Maintain proper customer documentation, records, and traceability in accordance with SOPs and Work Instructions.
• Track and update KPI measurements, order management, and turnaround-time metrics.
• Prepare and consolidate monthly KPI reports, identifying areas for improvement.
• Support and manage ad-hoc logistics projects as required.

Working Hours: 12-hour night shift, 8.00pm - 8.00am
Work Schedule: 5 days/week on a rotating roster

Requirements

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.

• Prior experience in team leadership or warehouse supervision will be an advantage.

• Experience with WMS and SAP is preferred.

• Good understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, KPIs, and operational excellence.

• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and people management skills.

• Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, Lean, or continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.

• Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts on a rotating 5-day work schedule.
