Job summary

NEW HOPE SINGAPORE PREMIX PTE. LTD. is seeking a logistics coordinator to manage import and export shipping operations, ensuring smooth customs clearance and on-time delivery in Singapore.

The role requires handling shipping documents, coordinating with freight forwarders, customers, and banks, and maintaining meticulous records in line with company policies. Candidates should have 1–3 years of relevant experience and a Diploma or higher in Shipping, Logistics, or related field, plus strong MS

Qualifications

• GCE O’/A Level or diploma in shipping/logistics or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of relevant logistics or shipping operations experience.
• Strong understanding of shipping documentation and procedures.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated knowledge of import/export shipping documentation and procedures.
• Experience in managing import/export operations and customs clearance.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customers, and banks on shipping matters.
• Maintain accurate shipping records in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Source, evaluate, and manage freight quotations and contracts.
• Monitor shipment progress with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery.
• Willing to perform ad hoc duties and projects as assigned.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrated knowledge of import and export shipping documentation and procedures.


• Experience in managing import and export operations, including the preparation of documentation to ensure smooth customs clearance and timely shipment delivery.


• Ability to coordinate and liaise effectively with freight forwarders, customers, and banks on shipping-related matters to ensure efficient shipment handling.


• Strong record-keeping skills with the ability to maintain accurate shipping documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.


• Experience in sourcing, evaluating, and managing freight quotations and contracts to achieve cost efficiency.


• Ability to monitor shipment progress and collaborate with logistics partners to ensure timely clearance and delivery.


• Willingness to perform ad hoc duties and undertake projects as assigned by the reporting officer.

Requirements:

• GCE ‘O’ or ‘A’ Level, Diploma in Shipping, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent qualification.


• 1–3 years of relevant working experience in logistics or shipping operations.


• Strong understanding of shipping documentation and procedures.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook).
