Job summary

THALES DIS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for a 2-year fixed-term employment.

The role involves coordinating daily shipment arrangements, managing incoming materials, and ensuring accurate documentation. You will work closely with production planners, freight forwarders, customers, and internal teams to support efficient warehouse and logistics operations while adhering to security and compliance policies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in logistics, supply chain, business admin or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of shipping, logistics, warehouse operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse processes.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipment arrangements with production planners, freight forwarders and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and collection.
• Arrange and manage daily/weekly flight bookings with freight forwarders according to shipment requirements and schedules.
• Monitor shipment progress and follow up on delays to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Ensure shipments comply with Singapore Customs, tax regulations and internal trade compliance policies.
• Receive and process materials, inspect for damages, and coordinate with QA and Purchasing for resolutions.
• Perform goods receipt transactions in the ERP system, including standard and unplanned receipts.
