Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or sales within Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Shipping or related industries.
• Strong communication and rapport-building with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Sales acumen with ability to identify opportunities and close deals.
• Knowledge of freight forwarding processes and shipping documentation is desirable.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with logistics software is a plus.
• Organised with ability to multitask and manage multiple client accounts.
• Independent and collaborative work mindset.
• Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• Fluent in English; other languages and accounting knowledge are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for service expansion.
• Generate new business leads and pursue sales opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics.
• Handle client enquiries on freight rates, options, documentation, and service availability.
• Process freight bookings, prepare quotations, and manage client accounts.
• Coordinate with operations, customs clearance and warehouse teams to ensure seamless service.
• Maintain records of client interactions and sales activities.
• Resolve client issues promptly with practical solutions.
• Monitor market trends to identify new business development opportunities.
• Prepare sales reports and client proposals.
• Promote company services and capabilities to potential clients.
