Job summary

PASONA SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Logistic Executive to coordinate international shipments, manage documentation, and work closely with group companies and logistics providers.

You will negotiate freight rates, track orders end-to-end, ensure Incoterms compliance, handle cargo claims, and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders. This is a hands-on role that requires accuracy under time constraints and strong relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Experience in freight, logistics coordination, or trade operations.
• Working knowledge of marine cargo insurance and claims handling.
• Familiarity with Incoterms 2020.
• Experience in an international trading environment with a commercially minded approach.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP (HANA) / SAP Business One experience is a bonus.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to travel occasionally for overseas business trips.

Responsibilities

• Book and coordinate shipments with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and carriers across sea, air, and land modes.
• Negotiate freight rates and service terms; benchmark against market to ensure cost competitiveness.
• Track shipments end-to-end and resolve delays, discrepancies, or any issues with a sense of urgency.
• Lead the carrier selection process by evaluating carriers against defined criteria covering cost, transit time, reliability, and compliance.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable trade regulations, customs requirements, and Incoterms.
• Coordinate with relevant parties to follow up and resolve complex cargo claims.
• Serve as the operational point of contact for internal sales affiliates, managing order intake and fulfilment coordination.
• Monitor sales orders and purchase orders across affiliates; identify demand patterns and flag supply constraints proactively.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records; prepare regular reports on order status, shipment progress, and any open issues for internal stakeholders.
• Work closely with affiliates to navigate order processing workflows and ensure PO discrepancies are identified and resolved accurately and on time.

About the Role - Logistics & Affiliate Operations

We are looking for a proactive and dependable individual to provide logistics coordination and documentation support for international shipments, working closely with group companies and logistics providers. The ideal candidate is someone who builds strong working relationships with business partners and takes ownership of their work. This is a hands‑on role that sits at the intersection of operations and commercial coordination, requiring both accuracy in execution and responsiveness under time‑sensitive conditions.

• Experience in an international trading environment is preferred, with a commercially minded approach and the ability to understand affiliate needs, build relationships and identify opportunities for service growth.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP (HANA) / SAP Business One system would be an added advantage

Eligibility and compliance information

Effective from 1 October 2020 under the new Employment Agencies (EAs) Licence Conditions, EAs will be required to collect the personal data (e.g. NRIC number number for overseas candidates) of applicants referred to employers for permanent or contract job positions of at least six months with a fixed monthly salary of S$3,300 and above.
