Private Advertiser in Singapore is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee end-to-end logistics, warehouse, and distribution operations, and to develop strategies to improve efficiency.
You will lead a team, plan inbound/outbound shipments, manage inventory, monitor costs, and partner with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and high service quality.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the overall logistics, warehouse, and distribution operations.
Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
Lead, manage, and develop the logistics and warehouse team, including manpower planning and performance management.
Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, transportation, and delivery schedules.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers, project sites, and other locations.
Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, loading, and dispatching.
Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records through regular stock checks and reconciliation.
Coordinate closely with suppliers, customers, transport providers, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Monitor transportation and logistics costs and implement cost-saving initiatives where appropriate.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics and warehouse operations.
Identify operational issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Review and improve warehouse and logistics processes to enhance productivity and service quality.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and transportation of goods to minimise damage, loss, and discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Oversee the maintenance and proper utilisation of warehouse equipment, vehicles, and other logistics resources.
Manage relationships and performance of third‑party logistics providers and transport vendors.
Prepare regular logistics, inventory, cost, and operational reports for management.
Support business expansion, warehouse projects, and other operational initiatives as required.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the management.
Job Requirements:
Degree or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations, with supervisory experience preferred.
Good knowledge of warehouse and logistics operations.
Strong organisational, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and manage a team effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with warehouse management systems is an advantage.
Able to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
