Job summary

TSTAR Recruit Pte. Ltd.’s client, an established MNC, seeks a Logistics Coordinator in Singapore to handle local transportation for import/export, including LCL, OOG, and break-bulk cargo.

You will plan pickups with operations teams, ports, customers, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth, timely execution. Responsibilities include monitoring progress, handling delivery orders and permits, and maintaining accurate records for billing.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations preferred.
• Familiarity with local road networks and port operations is advantageous.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills; ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and arrange local transportation for import and export shipments, including LCL, out-of-gauge (OOG), and break-bulk cargo.
• Plan and schedule cargo pickups and deliveries in coordination with operations teams, ports, customers, and external stakeholders.
• Assess cargo requirements and arrange suitable transportation based on load specifications, route considerations, and operational needs.
• Liaise with customers, drivers, port personnel, and internal teams to ensure smooth and timely job execution.
• Monitor operational progress, resolve issues proactively, and provide timely updates to customers and stakeholders.
• Prepare and manage operational documents, including delivery orders, permits, and proof of delivery records where applicable.
• Ensure accurate job completion records and documentation to support billing and invoicing processes.
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures, company policies, and relevant regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

• Relevant experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain operations, or a related field is preferred; candidates without prior experience are also welcome to apply.
• Familiarity with local road networks, yard operations, and port operations is an advantage.
• Knowledge of import/export permit processes and logistics documentation is preferred.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Service-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet operational deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information

• Salary: Up to SGD 3,500 +VB (1-2 Months)
• Working Hours:5.5 Days Work, Mon - Fri: 8:30am - 5:30pm, Sat: 8:30am - 12:30pm
