Job summary

Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong is seeking a friendly Lobby Host to welcome guests, assist with check-in/out, and share the local neighbourhood story. You will greet guests by name, provide courteous service, and upsell experiences.

This role focuses on personal, warm, unscripted service in a vibrant boutique setting. You will maintain brand standards, manage front desk tasks, know reservation procedures, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver True Hospitality.

Qualifications

• GCE 'N/O' Levels or Vocational Certificate in Hotel Administration with 1 year of guest/service experience.
• Strong communication with customers, employees and third parties to reflect the hotel brand.
• Able to read and write English.
• Experience using OPERA PMS.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests in a friendly, helpful manner and learns guests' names when possible.
• Ensure Brand Standards and True Hospitality are delivered consistently.
• Register and room arrivals per established procedures; assist with check-in/check-out.
• Handle guest requests, including safety box usage and special promotions.
• Create onward bookings within IHG properties when appropriate and maintain guest relations.
