Job summary

Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong and Holiday Inn Express Singapore Katong are hiring a Housekeeping Attendant to maintain clean and welcoming guest rooms and public areas. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a helpful attitude to assist guests and colleagues in daily operations.

Your responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms, restocking supplies, handling laundry tasks, and ensuring brand standards are met in line with hotel requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills and ability to interact with guests, colleagues and third parties.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English.
• Primary education or equivalent required.

• Adhere to personal grooming and hygiene standards and assist guests as needed.

Housekeeping Attendant – Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong & Holiday Inn Express Singapore Katong

Join us as a Housekeeping Attendant in Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong and Holiday Inn Express Singapore Katong. This vital role requires ambition, talent and key skills.

Responsibilities

• Report damage or malfunction in hotel rooms to Housekeeping Supervisors
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required
• Liaise with Executive Housekeeper / Housekeeping Supervisor regarding chemical usage, problems or rectification suggestions
• Ensure guest services specified by superiors and guest requests are promptly and courteously met
• Deliver guest requests on time to ensure follow hotel standards
• Carry out valet services when required including delivery of linen or processing laundry orders
• Count linens delivered from vendor to ensure all are in order
• Deliver amenities from store to pantry
• Deliver amenities to guests according to brand standard requirements set
• Replenish guest supplies
• Wash bed linens
• Maintain a section room report
• Maintain a daily room checklist
• Clean and maintain guest rooms, guest corridors, linen rooms and cupboards according to set standards and procedures
• Maintain equipment in proper state of cleanliness and repair
• Maintain knowledge of special programs and events in the hotel to recognize and respond to guests needs
• Maintain hotel information to provide to guests
• Assist guests and escort them to locations within the hotel at their requests
• Work in line with business requirements and in accordance with brand standards
• Adhere to personal grooming and hygiene standards
• Respond to emergencies effectively and efficiently
• Complete tasks as directed by Management, Executive Housekeeper, Housekeeping Supervisor or any other designated person
• Report and submit lost and found articles to superior immediately
• Report guest complaints to superior immediately

Qualifications and Requirements

Primary Education or equivalent. Some housekeeping experience. Must have strong communication skills, ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties reflecting highly on the hotel, the brand and the company. Must be able to speak, read and write English.
