China Merchants Bank Co., Ltd is seeking an experienced Loans Officer in Singapore to support loan operations, drawdowns and documentation. The role requires AML/KYC checks, Swift payments, and close coordination with Relationship Managers across bilateral and syndicated loans.

The candidate should be proficient in English and Mandarin, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities. A renewable contract with medical insurance is offered.

Competenze

• At least 3 years of experience handling credit documentation and loan administration.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with multitasking ability.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office, Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Proficiency in both English and Mandarin to liaise with internal and external Chinese stakeholders.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented with proactive attitude.

Mansioni

• Interpret the Facility Agreement / Letter of Offer to determine transaction allowances.
• Manage loan drawdowns, rollovers, and collection of principal and interest for bilateral and syndicated loans.
• Coordinate with Relationship Managers on outstanding matters and documentation.

• Prepare SWIFT payments for loan disbursements.
• Maintain proper loan-related records and documents.
• Process Bank Guarantees / Letters of Credit.

About the Role

China Merchants Bank (CMB) is one of China’s leading commercial banks with an extensive global network. In line with our business growth, we are now seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Operations Department as a Loans Officer.

Job Responsibilities:

• Accurately interpret the Facility Agreement / Letter of Offer in determining the allowance of requested transactions.
• Perform all aspects of loan drawdowns, rollovers, and collection of principal repayments and interest payments, as well as fees for both bilateral and syndicated loans.
• Interact with Relationship Managers when required in following up on outstanding matters and/or documentation from them.
• Perform AML / KYC checks.
• Prepare SWIFT payments for loan disbursements.
• Ensure proper record and safe keeping of loan-related documents.
• Process Bank Guarantees / Letters of Credit.
• Prepare local, regulatory and Head Office reports.
• Work with IT Teams on system upgrades and UAT roll-outs.
• Take on work-related projects and other duties as assigned by HOD / Management.

Requirements:
