Job summary

Agricultural Bank of China Limited in Singapore seeks a junior analyst to support Relationship Managers with day-to-day account management, financial spreads and KYC, and to assist with loan drawdowns and funding coordination.

You will conduct industry and company research for credit proposals and reviews, prepare departmental reports, and assist in creating marketing presentations as required. Degree in related field and 2–3 years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Banking and Finance, Accountancy, Business or related discipline.
• 2–3 years' work experience in corporate banking, credit analysis, loan administration or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements and corporate matters.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Relationship Manager to perform loan drawdowns, loan rollovers and coordinating with Treasury Dept and Settlements on loan funding and admin matters;
• Perform industry and company research for the purpose of preparing credit proposals, credit review and any ad-hoc need;
• Assist to prepare departmental reports as and when required;
• Assist to prepare powerpoint presentations for marketing purposes as and when required.

Job Requirement

• Degree in Banking and Finance, Accountancy, Business or a related discipline.
• Relevant 2-3 years' work experience in corporate banking, credit analysis, loan administration or a related field would be an advantage. Candidates with relevant internship experience are also welcome to apply.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, financial statements and corporate business matters.
• Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to prepare clear and accurate reports.
• Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin would be an advantage for communicating with Chinese-speaking clients and colleagues.
• Self-motivated, proactive and willing to learn, with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders.
