Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced Air Freight Cargo Operations Specialist in Singapore to plan and optimize cargo allocation, ensuring weight and balance while maximizing aircraft utilization.
You will coordinate loading/unloading with ramp, warehouse and flight operations, oversee handling of oversized, temperature-controlled, dangerous and high-value shipments, and monitor tracking and discrepancies to maintain service quality.
Planned and optimized aircraft cargo allocation, ensuring compliance with weight and balance requirements while maximizing aircraft utilization.
Coordinated cargo loading and unloading activities with ramp, warehouse, and flight operations teams to support efficient aircraft turnaround and operational schedules.
Supervised handling arrangements for oversized, urgent, temperature-controlled, dangerous goods, and high-value cargo shipments in accordance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Monitored cargo acceptance, build-up, and loading processes to ensure operational accuracy and service quality.
Responded to customer and operational inquiries regarding shipment tracking, cargo discrepancies, irregular operations, and offloaded cargo, providing timely resolution and updates.
Managed cargo operations for Boeing 747 freighter aircraft, including load planning, cargo distribution, and coordination with ground handling teams to ensure safe and efficient aircraft loading.
Ensured compliance with airline, airport, and international aviation regulations related to cargo handling and transportation.
Collaborated with internal stakeholders and external partners to maintain service reliability and meet customer delivery commitments.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in air freight, cargo operations, or airline cargo handling.
Strong working knowledge of air cargo processes, including cargo acceptance, load planning, aircraft loading, shipment tracking, and irregular cargo handling.
Established working relationships and effective communication with major ground handling agents such as SATS and Dnata.
Experience handling cargo operations for wide-body aircraft, preferably Boeing 747 freighter operations.
Familiarity with handling special cargo, including oversized, temperature-controlled, dangerous goods, and high-value shipments.
Ability to coordinate effectively with airlines, ground handlers, warehouse teams, and operational stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage operational disruptions and customer inquiries.
Willingness to work extended hours, shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required to support operational demands.
Able to perform under pressure while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and service quality.
