Job summary

HALCON PRIMO LOGISTICS PTE. LTD. seeks a specialist to oversee daily airfreight operations, ensuring timely processing of shipments and secure space through airlines and forwarders.

The role requires 3+ years in airfreight or logistics, strong knowledge of air cargo regulations, and proficient use of logistics software and MS Office. You will liaise with carriers, customers, and internal teams to optimize costs and service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3years' experience in airfreight operations or a similar role within the logistics industry.
• Strong knowledge of air cargo operations, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Notify customer on cargo arrival, declaration of custom permit and notify transporter for delivery.
• Follow standard and established compliance-related administrative activities.
• Evaluate customer needs to improvefreight operations processes.
• Maintain relationships with vendors, carriers and co-loaders to provide competitive shipping solutions to customers.
• Lead inspection of cargo or material-handling security procedures.
• Follow standard and established compliance-related administrative activities.
• Ability to negotiate contract rates and manage relationships with airlines and service providers to optimize service levels.
• Manage client relationships, addressing inquiries and resolving issues to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and control airfreight costs, negotiate with carriers and service providers to obtain the best rates.
• Work closely with other departments such as sales, customer service, and logistics to ensure a cohesive approach to airfreight operations.
• Commit to and adhere to the HPL Occupational Health & Safety Management System.
• Commit to and comply with the HPL Quality Management System.
• Undertake any additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
