Job summary

Qualifications

• Preferably 3+ years experience as a Library Officer in a school or tertiary library.
• Knowledge of Spydus Library Management Solution and Dewey Decimal Classification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and library inventory management.
• Experience organising reading programmes, library activities and educational events.
• Strong communication, organisational and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily library operations, including book loans, returns, shelving and library user enquiries.
• Catalogue, classify and maintain library collections using the library management system.
• Conduct inventory checks, stocktaking, weeding and procurement coordination for library resources.
• Organise reading programmes, book reviews, library displays and student engagement activities.
• Maintain library records, prepare monthly usage reports and ensure a clean, organised learning environment.
