Job summary

Marina Bay Sands in Singapore is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to lead a team of stewards and uphold the restaurant’s cleanliness and safety standards. You will supervise operations, manage inventories, and ensure smooth daily runs while coordinating with the Stewarding Leadership Team.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in restaurant/bar settings with at least 1 year in a supervisory role, possess stewarding knowledge, and demonstrate strong English communication. A high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Education & Certification Minimum high school “O” Level; Diploma in any field is an advantage.
• Experience 2 year of experiences in restaurant and bar with minimum 1 year in supervisor position.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of stewards (full and casual part-timer) in maintaining the restaurant’s cleanliness.
• Maintain inventory of OS&E and operating supplies.
• Supervise cleanliness of floors, walls and equipment; wash and sanitize ice machines; clean shelves and filters; polish holloware; manage dish area and trolleys; oversee waste disposal and toilets.
• Ensure daily stewarding SOPs are followed and update bulletin boards and materials.
• Coordinate stewarding schedules, especially during absences; assist HR matters and performance appraisals.
• Provide on-the-job and technical training for new stewards; liaise with DM Inspector and Hygiene Manager.
• Ensure safety, hygiene and sanitation procedures meet hotel standards; coordinate with suppliers and contractors.
