Job summary

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 6+ years of hands-on experience with industrial or commercial refrigeration and chiller systems.

Opening Job Opportunity:

We have an opening for a Lead Service Engineer in the chiller division. You will work closely with your team to ensure day-to-day operations are executed in a safe and timely manner. In this role, you will be responsible for:

What You Will Do:

• Demonstrates strong ownership and accountability for assigned projects and service activities.
• Leads, supports, and collaborates effectively with team members while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Performs and oversees installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing of chiller equipment at workshop and customer field sites.
• Ensures strict compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and installation procedures (on-the-job training will be provided).
• Acts as the primary technical point of contact to proactively manage, facilitate, and resolve customer technical and quality issues through to full closure.
• Prepares detailed service reports and maintains effective communication with the product principal via email and phone regarding service activities and technical matters.

What You Must Have:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 6 years and above of hands-on experience working with industrial or commercial refrigeration and chiller systems; experience in a lead or senior engineer role is an advantage.
• Strong engineering fundamentals with proven troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and able to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead an engineer team and provide technical guidance on‑site or in the workshop.
• Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to interface professionally with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
