Job summary

Protec Systems Pte Ltd. is seeking a Lead Service Engineer for the Chiller Division.

You will work with your team to ensure day-to-day operations meet quality servicing expectations, including installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of chiller systems at workshop and customer sites. The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 6+ years of hands-on refrigeration experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 6+ years hands-on experience with industrial or commercial refrigeration and chiller systems; lead/senior engineer experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to lead an engineer team and provide technical guidance on-site or in the workshop.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own service projects and activities.
• Collaborate with team members and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing of chiller equipment at workshop and customer sites.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards and procedures.
• Act as primary technical contact to manage and resolve customer issues through to closure.
• Prepare detailed service reports and communicate with product principal via email/phone.
