Job summary

OCBC Bank is seeking a Technology Architecture professional in Singapore to lead end-to-end payment architecture across initiation, processing, and settlement. You will design scalable payment solutions, drive modernization initiatives, and define patterns for platforms used across domestic and cross-border rails.

The role requires strong experience in microservices, Java, Spring Boot, and messaging, along with the ability to guide engineering teams and collaborate with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technology solutioning or architecture.
• Hands-on experience with microservices, Java, Spring Boot, messaging, and container platforms.
• Experience with domestic and cross-border payment rails and ISO 20022 is advantageous.
• Ability to lead architectural design decisions and communicate clearly to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture for payment capabilities from initiation to reporting.
• Design payment solutions meeting regulatory, security, resiliency, and performance requirements.
• Drive payment modernization, migration, and roadmap activities with cross-functional teams.
• Produce architecture artefacts and detailed designs using domain-driven design and API-first integration.
• Provide hands-on guidance to engineering teams during delivery and issue resolution.
