Job summary

OCBC Bank seeks a Technology Architecture professional in Singapore to lead end-to-end solution architecture for payment capabilities across initiation, processing, clearing, settlement and reporting. You will drive modernization programs, define target architecture, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, and high‑performing payment solutions.

The role requires 7+ years in technology solutioning or architecture, hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot,

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in technology solutioning, solution architecture or application architecture.
Hands-on experience in microservices architecture, Java, Spring Boot, messaging (MQ/Kafka), container platforms (Kubernetes/OpenShift) and databases.
Experience with domestic and cross-border payments, real-time payments and ISO 20022 is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end solution architecture for payment capabilities across initiation, processing, clearing, settlement, exception management, reconciliation, notification and reporting.
Design payment solutions meeting business, regulatory, security, resiliency, scalability, performance and availability requirements across various payment rails.
Drive payment modernization and migration initiatives, including target architecture, migration roadmap and cutover planning.
Produce architecture artefacts such as context diagrams, sequence flows and deployment views.
Define detailed designs using domain-driven design, API-first integration, event-driven architecture and microservices patterns.
