Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Robotics.
  • 3+ years robotics hardware design experience.
  • Proficient in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360).
  • Hands-on with rapid prototyping (3D printing, machining).
  • Experience building functional robotic systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design mechanical structures and components for autonomous robotic platforms.
  • Perform FEA, thermal analysis, and material selection.
  • Analyze kinematics and dynamics to ensure stability.
  • Design actuations and payloads, integrate sensors.
  • Prototype and manufacture parts using 3D printing and machining.
  • Oversee assembly and integration of robotic systems.
  • Collaborate with electrical/control/software teams for integration.
  • Create thorough CAD models, drawings, and test procedures.
