Job summary

GETECH AUTOMATION PTE LTD in Singapore seeks an experienced Automation Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to drive mechanical design of electronics automation equipment, including semiconductor and PCB manufacturing systems. You will collaborate with project managers, customers, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into high-precision designs, select components, and prepare BOMs.

Qualifications

Minimum 6 years of experience in automation equipment design.
Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and sensor selections.
Proficient in SolidWorks 3D and EPDM.
Familiar with ISO/IEC machine safety standards.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Project Manager and customer to understand requirements.
Analyse requirements and participate in concept generation.
Design high-precision automation equipment.
Select standard components including sensors, pneumatics, motors, servos, and robotics.
Prepare BOM using SAP.
Coordinate with fabrication houses and suppliers.
Guide assembly technicians during build and test.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
