Job summary

Talent Trader Group is seeking a hands-on Mechatronics/Mechanical/Systems Engineer in Singapore to design, develop, and document precision fixtures and mechatronic systems. Qualifications

• Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.
• Experience with opto-mechatronic systems, including assembly, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• CAD proficiency, preferably Siemens NX; 2–5 years of relevant hands-on experience.
• Knowledge of precision mechanics, tolerancing, automation, and system design.
• Basic electronics knowledge, including sensors, actuators, and wiring.
• Experience in motion/optical system calibration and alignment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering documentation such as drawings and BOMs.
• Design and develop precision fixtures and mechatronic systems using CAD.
• Translate requirements into reliable, manufacturable engineering solutions.
• Assemble, calibrate, test, and optimise equipment for performance and stability.
• Troubleshoot issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement improvements.
• Work with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely project delivery.
