Job summary

Talentsis in Singapore seeks a qualified embedded hardware engineer to design low-power electrical architectures for autonomous robotic platforms and to develop bespoke PCBs for sensors, power management, and processing.

You will implement firmware in C/C++ for MCUs/SoCs, interface diverse sensors, and work with RTOS/embedded Linux, PX4 flight control, and edge AI optimizations on constrained hardware. Collaboration across teams is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's in EE, CE, robotics, or related field.
3+ years in robotics hardware, embedded systems, or equivalent R&D.
Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded platforms.
Hands-on PCB design with Altium, KiCad or Eagle.
Strong understanding of MCU architectures and comms protocols.
Experience with sensor integration and signal conditioning.
Experience with RTOS and embedded Linux.

Responsibilities

Design and develop low-power electrical architectures for autonomous robotic platforms.
Design, layout, fabricate, and test custom PCBs for sensors and power management.
Interface various sensors at hardware level ensuring signal integrity.
Develop embedded software/firmware for MCUs/SoCs for real-time control.
Implement and manage interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, Ethernet, Wi-Fi).
Work with RTOS and embedded Linux environments.
Integrate hardware with flight control systems (PX4).
Investigate firmware optimizations for edge AI on constrained hardware.
Conduct validation and performance testing including flight tests.
Collaborate with mechanical/control/software/AI engineers for integration.
Create and maintain documentation.
