Job summary

FPT Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to provide Level 2 support for mission-critical business applications, ensuring availability, performance and stability across Windows, UNIX/Linux and cloud environments.

You will collaborate with Level 1, development and operations teams to troubleshoot issues, analyse MSSQL data with SQL, manage AWS services, and contribute to automation, upgrades and cloud migrations with a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in REST API support and incidents.
• 2+ years with JavaScript frameworks (React.js, Next.js, NestJS, Node.js).
• 3+ years with microservices and container tech.
• 2+ years in application or production support.
• Strong MSSQL experience with queries and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on AWS knowledge for EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, CloudWatch.
• Understanding of ITSM/ITIL practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for business-critical applications with timely SLA resolution.
• Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, DB, and integration issues.
• Analyse MSSQL data with SQL queries and perform fixes as needed.
• Administer apps in AWS (EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, CloudWatch).
• Perform log analysis, monitoring, and Bash automation tasks.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams on fixes and enhancements.
• Support REST APIs, microservices, and container-based apps.
• Apply ITSM practices across incident, problem, and change management.
• Contribute to platform automation, upgrades, and cloud migrations.
