Job summary

FPT Software Singapore is seeking a Software Engineer - Application Support to provide L2/L3 application support, investigate issues, implement fixes, and perform data patches with unit testing.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Java, SQL, and strong troubleshooting and communication skills, and will collaborate with IT teams, business users, and vendors to resolve incidents within SLAs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 2-3 years of relevant IT experience, preferably in L2/L3 application or production support.
• Hands-on experience with Java programming and troubleshooting application issues.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and perform log analysis for incidents escalated by L1 support.
• Participate in application testing, issue reproduction, and root cause analysis.
• Develop and implement workarounds, fixes, and data patches for incidents.
• Perform unit testing and validation of solutions.
• Monitor performance, availability, and resources; document solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation and troubleshooting guides.
• Take ownership of tickets through to resolution within SLAs.
• Collaborate with IT teams, business users, vendors and stakeholders.
