Job summary
FPT Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is seeking a Software Engineer - Application Support to provide Level 2 and Level 3 application support. You will investigate and resolve issues escalated by L1, perform root cause analysis, implement fixes and data patches, and conduct unit testing, while preparing comprehensive technical documentation.

Qualifications
- 2–3 years of IT experience, preferably in L2/L3 application or production support.
- Hands-on experience with Java programming.
- Experience in troubleshooting application issues and performing log analysis.
- Experience with SQL queries and scripting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft applications.
Responsibilities
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and perform log analysis for incidents escalated by L1 support.
- Participate in application testing, issue reproduction, and root cause analysis.
- Develop and implement workarounds, fixes, and data patches for incidents and problems.
- Perform unit testing and validation of implemented solutions.
- Monitor application performance, response times, availability, and resource utilisation.
- Prepare technical documentation and troubleshooting guides.
- Provide technical support during deployment and release activities.
- Collaborate with IT teams, business users, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for system improvements and propose practical solutions.
