Job summary

GMP Technologies in Singapore is seeking a L1 Field Engineer to provide on-site IT system support, assist in network and desktop troubleshooting, and ensure SLA compliance across sites.

The role requires a Diploma in IT, knowledge of Windows OS and basic networking, willingness to travel to multiple sites, and the ability to work rotating AM/PM shifts (8am–8pm and 8pm–8am).

Qualifications

• Diploma in IT or relevant discipline.
• Experience in desktop support and working knowledge of Windows OS.
• Knowledge of basic networking and troubleshooting.
• Willingness to travel and operate in a 24/7 shift environment.

• Provide on-site IT system support.
• Troubleshoot network and desktop issues to meet SLA.

• To provide on-site support for IT systems.
• To be involve in network and desktop troubleshooting, with operation experience to ensure that the system meets the SLA.
• To provide support on the scheduling and deployment of information to the IT systems.
• To work with product team on any system enhancement or troubleshooting.

Requirements:

• Diploma in IT or relevant discipline, with experience in desktop support and good working knowledge in Windows OS, Basic Networking.
• Skills in network and desktop troubleshooting, with operation experience to ensure that the system meets the SLA, and system and database admin experience will be an advantage.
• Good technical, analytical and troubleshooting skills, with strong customer-oriented attitude and inter-personal skills.
• Willing to travel to multiple sites and comfortable with shift schedule: 2 days work and 2 days off rotational shift (AM Shift: 8AM to 8PM; PM Shift 8PM to 8AM).
