Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an IT Support Engineer (L1) for a fixed night shift in Singapore. You will provide first-line support for IT systems, endpoints, and end users, handling incidents with timely resolution and escalation as needed.

The role requires 1–4 years' experience and a diploma or degree in IT. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, networks, and manufacturing systems such as MES and WMS, while maintaining accurate documentation and asset logs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in IT, CS, or related discipline.
• 1–4 years of IT Helpdesk, Application Support, or End-User Support.
• Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux, networking, security concepts, and SQL queries.
• Experience supporting MES or WMS is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work permanently night shift (Mon–Fri, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM).
• Exposure to Cisco technologies and enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1 support for applications, systems, and end users, ensuring timely issue resolution or escalation.
• Serve as the first point of contact for hardware, software, printer, and system-related incidents.
• Perform initial troubleshooting for infrastructure and network issues and elevate when necessary.
• Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems, applications, and end-user devices.
• Monitor and support manufacturing systems such as MES and WMS.
• Execute routine IT operational, security, and audit activities during the shift.
• Maintain accurate documentation, asset records, and incident logs.
