Job summary

THUNDER CHICKEN (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is hiring for a full-time kitchen role on the East Side. You will prepare ingredients, marinate chicken, and portion food according to standard recipes, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.

Responsibilities include cooking fried chicken and menu items, coordinating with service staff for dine-in, takeaway and delivery, and maintaining strict food safety and hygiene. Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen or cooking is an advantage.
• Able to follow standard recipes, portion guidelines and kitchen procedures.

Job details

• Location: East Side
• Employment: Full-time
• Salary: Up to $2800
• Working days: 6 days per week

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients, marinate chicken and portion food according to standard recipes.
• Cook fried chicken and other menu items according to the restaurant’s procedures.
• Maintain consistent food quality, portion sizes and presentation.
• Coordinate with service crew to prepare dine-in, takeaway and delivery orders promptly and accurately.
• Follow food safety procedures for handling, storage, cooking and prevention of cross-contamination.
• Check incoming ingredients, label and date food, and rotate stock correctly.
• Monitor ingredient usage, minimise wastage and report stock shortages.
• Clean and sanitise kitchen workstations, equipment and utensils.
• Assist with kitchen opening, preparation and closing duties.

Requirements

• Previous kitchen or cooking experience is an advantage.
• Able to follow standard recipes, portion guidelines and kitchen procedures.
• Responsible, organised and committed to food hygiene.
• Able to work well with the team during busy service periods.
