Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a kitchen assistant for a well-established Japanese restaurant in Singapore. The role involves assisting in food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation to meet company standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of kitchen experience and holds the WSQ Food and Hygiene Certification. Working days are 5.5 per week with a central/east location and comprehensive welfare benefits.

Qualifications

• GCE O Level or higher required.
• 2 years related experience in kitchen.
• Possess WSQ Food and Hygiene Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation according to company standards.
• Ensure food quality, freshness, and cost control requirements are met.
• Follow kitchen task schedules and instructions from the Outlet Chef or supervisor.
• Complete mise en place as required.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
• Comply with all mandatory food safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors.
