Job summary

Cultivar Asia Pte Ltd is seeking a Key Account Controller / Operations Executive to manage end-to-end sea freight operations, coordinating with customers, shipping lines, and booking agents to ensure smooth shipment processes.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years in logistics with sea freight exposure, hands-on experience with import and export, knowledge of Southeast Asia markets, and the ability to operate independently in a senior role.

The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, with hands-on experience handling both import and export shipments while working closely with customers, shipping lines, and booking agents to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee end-to-end import and export sea freight operations.
• Coordinate directly with customers, shipping lines, and booking agents to ensure smooth shipment processes.
• Handle shipment documentation, bookings, and operational follow-ups.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide timely updates throughout the shipment lifecycle.
• Ensure operational accuracy, compliance, and adherence to internal processes.
• Monitor shipment progress, resolve issues proactively, and maintain service quality standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, with strong exposure to sea freight operations.
• Proven experience handling both import and export processes.
• Knowledge of Southeast Asia logistics markets and shipping practices.
• Solid industry experience with the ability to work independently in a senior operational role.
• Hands-on experience liaising with customers, shipping lines, and booking agents.
• Experience using CargoWise is a strong advantage.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Prior experience in a Key Account, Operations, or Sea Freight Controller role is preferred.
