High Note Hospitality Group Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to manage daily kitchen activities, lead the team in Head/Sous chef absence, and support menu development.

Based at Botanic Gardens, this full-time role offers hands-on experience, opportunities to mentor junior staff, ensure FIFO/FEFO discipline, maintain stock, and uphold strict food safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant kitchen experience.
• Proven leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team during the absence of Head or Sous Chef to maintain kitchen operations.
• Schedule kitchen staff to ensure adequate coverage during all shifts.
• Guide junior kitchen staff in line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating to meet quality standards.
• Implement and verify FIFO and FEFO systems for quality assurance.
• Maintain stocked kitchen stations and monitor during peak hours for smooth service.
• Train new kitchen team members to meet restaurant standards.
