Job summary

INITIA GROUP in Singapore is seeking a talented Junior Sous Chef to join our culinary team. If you are currently a cook or CDP, this role offers opportunity to support our kitchen while delivering high-quality dishes that meet our head chef’s standards.

You will follow directions, collaborate with the team, maintain a clean, safe workspace, manage stock, and assist across kitchen stations as needed. A culinary degree and at least three years in a similar role are preferred, with flexibility in

Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts or Science, Business, or relevant fields.
At least 3 years experience working in a similar role.
Ability to work well alone and in a team.

Multitasking and organizational ability.
Flexibility in working hours subject to the demands of the business.

Responsibilities

Following directions provided by the head chef.
Collaborating with the whole culinary team to ensure high-quality food and service.
Keeping the kitchen safe and sanitary.
Stocktaking and ordering supplies.
Assisting in other areas of the kitchen when required.
Handling any problems that may arise.
