Job summary

TLG GOURMET PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a passionate Sommelier/Wine Service professional to deliver exceptional wine service and advise guests on wine selections and pairings.

You will support the Head Sommelier in maintaining the wine list, cellar organization, and inventory control, while upholding responsible service standards in a fast-paced F&B setting.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Passion for wine and willingness to learn.
• Friendly, positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Service oriented and passionate working in F&B industry.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver wine service and recommend wines to enhance the guest dining experience.
• Assist guests with wine selections, food pairings, and beverage recommendations.
• Support Head Sommelier in wine list maintenance, cellar organization, and inventory control.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and presentation of wines per service standards.
• Open, decant, and serve wines using correct service techniques.
• Conduct stock checks, receive deliveries, and maintain inventory records.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service standards with exceptional guest service and teamwork.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Superior.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver professional wine service and recommend suitable wines to enhance the guest dining experience.
• Assist guests with wine selections, food pairings, and beverage recommendations.
• Support the Head Sommelier in maintaining the wine list, cellar organization, and inventory control.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and presentation of wines in accordance with service standards.
• Open, decant, and serve wines using correct service techniques.
• Conduct regular stock checks, receive wine deliveries, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service standards while maintaining exceptional guest service and teamwork
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Superior from time to time
