Job summary

Tung Lok Signatures (2006) PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable wine professional to deliver exceptional wine service and tailor recommendations to guests. You will assist with wine selections, pairings, and managing the wine list in a guest‑focused dining environment.

The ideal candidate has a passion for wine, strong communication skills, and the stamina to work in a fast-paced F&B setting, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in wine service or sommelier roles preferred.
• Passion for wine and willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work weekends and public holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional wine service and wine recommendations.
• Assist guests with wine selection and food pairings.
• Support Head Sommelier with wine list, cellar and inventory.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and presentation of wines.
• Open, decant, and serve wines using proper techniques.
• Perform stock checks, receive deliveries, maintain records.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service and exceptional service.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver professional wine service and recommend suitable wines to enhance the guest dining experience.
• Assist guests with wine selections, food pairings, and beverage recommendations.
• Support the Head Sommelier in maintaining the wine list, cellar organization, and inventory control.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and presentation of wines in accordance with service standards.
• Open, decant, and serve wines using correct service techniques.
• Conduct regular stock checks, receive wine deliveries, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service standards while maintaining exceptional guest service and teamwork
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Superior from time to time

Requirements:

• Prior experience is preferred
• Passion for wine and a willingness to continuously learn and develop professionally
• Friendly, positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Service oriented and passionate working in F&B industry
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays
• Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods
