Job summary

STAFFKING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced wine and beverage service assistant to join our premium hospitality team. You will work with the Sommelier team to deliver guests an exceptional wine experience, assisting with service, recommendations and presentation.

Sound knowledge of wines and spirits, strong communication, and flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays are essential. Relevant wine certification such as WSET is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in wine or beverage service preferred.
• Knowledge or strong interest in wines and spirits.
• Strong communication and professional service attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Sommelier team with wine and beverage service.
• Recommend suitable wines and beverages based on guests and food selections.
• Assist with wine presentation, opening, pouring and service techniques.
• Maintain wine inventory, cellar organisation and stock levels.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of wines and beverages.
• Provide professional and personalised service to enhance guest experience.
