Job summary

LIGHTHOUSE CHARTERING SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable chartering professional to manage shipbroking activities for chemical and vegetable oil tankers in Singapore.

You will source vessels and cargo, negotiate fixtures and charters, monitor markets, and build lasting relationships with charterers and shipowners, including Mandarin-speaking partners. Fresh graduates welcome; 0–3 years' experience acceptable; strong communication and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Maritime, Shipping, Business or related discipline.
• 0–3 years' experience in tanker chartering or shipbroking.
• Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
• Mandarin proficiency is required to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking shipowners and charterers.
• Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.

Requirements

• Comfortable attending client entertainment and networking engagements outside regular working hours when required.
