Job summary

JCR Containers Solutions Pte Ltd is seeking a motivated Junior Business Development Executive to join our growing team in Singapore. You will identify and pursue new business opportunities, source leads, and help expand our footprint in local and overseas markets.

Ideal candidates have a Diploma or equivalent in Business/Marketing/Logistics, strong communication and negotiation skills, and are eager to learn. Fresh graduates or those with 1–2 years of sales experience are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Logistics or related field.
• Fresh graduates or 1–2 years sales experience welcome.
• Good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated and willing to learn.
• Comfortable with cold calling and developing new business.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in shipping, logistics or container trading is an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in Singapore and overseas markets.
• Source potential customers via market research, cold calls, emails and LinkedIn.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, shipping companies, freight forwarders and traders.
• Prepare sales quotations, follow up on inquiries and negotiate deals.
• Coordinate with suppliers and customers on availability, pricing, and delivery.
• Maintain customer records, sales pipelines and weekly reports.
• Support management in achieving sales targets and expanding market presence.
