Job summary
Cogent Holdings Pte Ltd and its subsidiary SH Cogent Logistics Pte Ltd are seeking a Business Development Executive to drive revenue growth by identifying, securing and maintaining new clients for logistics solutions including warehousing and trucking services in Southeast Asia, with a focus on Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.
The role requires a degree/diploma in logistics or related field and 2–3 years’ business development experience, complemented by strong interpersonal,
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in logistics, business or related field.
- 2–3 years’ experience with a track record in business development.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Grow the logistics business in Southeast Asia, especially Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.
- Conduct market research and monitor market trends.
- Gather market data to support development of market strategies.
- Identify opportunities for business expansion and new client acquisition.
- Assist in implementing strategic initiatives and manage assigned projects end-to-end.
- Prepare business development-related proposals, presentations and reports for Senior Management review.
- Project-manage transactions, ensuring milestones and deliverables with counter-parties.
