Qualifications

• Proven experience in relationship management within private banking, wealth management, or financial services.
• Track record in client acquisition, asset gathering, portfolio growth, and revenue generation.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets and wealth management solutions.
• Excellent commercial acumen with business development and negotiation skills.
• Professional working proficiency in Japanese to liaise with Japanese-speaking stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, providing a full spectrum of private banking and wealth management services.
• Identify, acquire, and onboard new clients while deepening existing client relationships.
• Drive growth in assets under management (AUM), client deposits, investments, and overall revenue generation.
• Promote and deliver a broad suite of financial products and solutions, including lending, investment, and wealth planning services.
• Execute business development initiatives targeting Japanese and international client segments.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and support teams to ensure efficient resolution of client issues and operational matters.
• Maintain high standards of client service and relationship management throughout the client lifecycle.
• Conduct client due diligence, source-of-wealth assessments, know-your-customer (KYC) procedures, and periodic reviews in accordance with regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
• Ensure all client activities comply with applicable regulatory, risk, and governance standards.
