Job summary

Maersk is seeking an IT Technology Operations specialist to provide hands-on warehouse OT and onsite IT support in Singapore. You will troubleshoot PDA, RF devices, printers, and workstations, manage incidents, and support ITIL processes in a live warehouse environment.

Strong knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365, AD, and network basics, plus the ability to learn rapidly and travel between locations as needed. On-call support may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• >3 years of relevant warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, automation or onsite IT support experience.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of computers, printers, scanners, mobile or RF devices and network connectivity.
• Working knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.
• Strong communication, ownership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on IT and OT support in a live warehouse environment.
• Troubleshoot PDA, RDT, RF devices, barcode scanners, label printers, and workstations.
• Manage incidents and requests with SLA/OLA awareness.
• Assist in IT asset lifecycle management and preventive maintenance.
• Provide user training and maintain documentation.
• Travel between supported locations and on-call support as needed.

Role- IT Technology Operations
Location- Singapore
Technical Skills

• Hands-on support experience in warehouse Operational Technology and onsite IT environments
• Troubleshooting of PDA, RDT, RF devices, barcode scanners, label printers, warehouse workstations and IT peripherals
• Good knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams and end-user computing support
• Basic troubleshooting of LAN, Wi-Fi, network connectivity, switches, wireless controllers, firewalls and local servers
• Understanding of Warehouse Management Systems, Active Directory and warehouse automation technologies
• Experience with incident, problem and change management, including SLA and OLA awareness
• Knowledge of IT asset lifecycle management, inventory control, CMDB updates and preventive maintenance
• Basic understanding of OT cybersecurity, access control, secure configuration and vulnerability remediation
• Ability to interpret network diagrams, technical schematics and standard configuration templates
• Familiarity with Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI for simple automation and operational reporting
• Basic understanding of ITIL service management principles

Mush Have

• Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline
• > 3 years of relevant warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, automation or onsite IT support experience
• Hands-on troubleshooting of computers, printers, scanners, mobile or RF devices and network connectivity
• Working knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365
• Strong communication, ownership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure in an operational warehouse environment
• Willingness to travel and provide on-call support

Good-to-Have

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems or warehouse automation
• Exposure to conveyors, RFID tunnels or similar automation equipment
• Basic server, Cisco, Aruba or FortiGate knowledge
• ITIL certification or understanding of ITIL processes
• Power Apps, Power Automate or Power BI experience
• Project coordination experience
• Knowledge of OT cybersecurity and vulnerability remediation
• Experience with LEAN or continuous improvement methodologies
