Job description

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT matters, supporting both in-office and remote users.
• Manage and support endpoints, core business applications, network infrastructure, and on‑premise/cloud environments.
• Ensure secure and reliable connectivity with external platforms, including trading, market data, and research systems.
• Administer user access controls and lead incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation.
• Maintain and test backup and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
• Manage the Managed Service Provider (MSP), including service levels, reporting, costs, and quarterly reviews.
• Maintain and update IT policies, procedures, and documentation, ensuring firm‑wide compliance.

Job Requirements

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• At least 5 years of in‑house IT experience, preferably in financial services.
• Strong experience in IT operations, access management, patching, backup, and recovery.
• Proven ability to manage MSPs and IT vendors.
• Effective incident management and problem‑solving skills.
• Clear communicator with non‑technical stakeholders.
• Highly organised, proactive, and accountable.
