Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join a global IT solutions provider serving a financial services office in Singapore. This is a hands-on, onsite role supporting a high-performance user base, including VIP and senior users, while also providing remote support to colleagues in London.

You will handle Windows 11, Microsoft 365, ENtra ID, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and AV systems, and participate in on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on IT support experience.
• Confident face-to-face and VIP support skills.
• Strong Microsoft 365, Outlook and Windows 11 knowledge.
• Good understanding of AD / Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and VPNs
• PowerShell scripting experience or strong automation interest
• Financial services experience would be highly desirable
• Bloomberg or Reuters support experience would be a strong plus

Responsibilities

• Providing face-to-face IT support for the Singapore office
• Supporting VIP and senior stakeholders
• Delivering remote support to users in the UK
• Troubleshooting Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, Zoom and Webex
• Working across Entra ID / Azure AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and Exchange
• Supporting MDM, macOS, iOS and Azure Virtual Desktop
• Getting involved in infrastructure issues, projects and improvements
• Using PowerShell to automate tasks and improve workflows
• Supporting AV, meeting rooms and general office technology
• Participating in an on-call rota when required
