Job summary

OPUS IT SERVICES PTE LTD is seeking an IT Engineer to deliver on-site support for desktops, notebooks, printers, and other devices at our client site in Singapore. The role involves coordinating with third-party vendors for maintenance and performing preventative care on laptops and Macs.

• Experience providing on-site IT support for PCs, notebooks, printers and scanners.
• Experience with IT equipment maintenance and VIP-related setups.
• Familiarity with asset management using Excel or an asset portal.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site services for IT-related issues (desktops, notebooks, tablets, printers, scanners).
• Coordinate maintenance with external vendors as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance on laptops, workstations and MacBooks.
• Support events and meetings with IT equipment setup, especially for VIPs.
• Assist with IT asset management using Excel or an asset portal.

Job description

Working Hrs / Working Week: (Shift Duty) - Rotational basis 5.5 days, Monday to Friday working hours (8:00am - 5:00pm) + Saturday (8:30am - 1:00pm) Monday to Friday working hours (8:00am - 6:00pm)

Location: Upper Changi Road

Contract: 2 Years (renewable)

Salary: Basic + $50 Communication Allowance

Preferred: Singapore Citizen / Singapore PR

IT Engineer;

Provide On-site services for IT-related issues, including problems with Desktops, Notebooks/MacBooks, Tablets, Printers, Plotters, MFDs, copiers, and Scanners to users

Conduct IT Equipment Management Services related to escalation, e.g., to an external 3rd party vendor for maintenance support, etc.

Conduct Preventive Maintenance on all laptops, workstations, and MacBooks for the University

Able to assist with events and meetings on IT Equipment setup, especially with VIPs' presence.

Further administrative tasks:

Knowledge or experience in managing company IT Asset in term of excel sheets or organisation asset portal.

Experience in PC Tech Refresh, Asset Write-off and Disposal exercises (added advantage)

Assisting walk-in Customer to the IT Care Counter whenever available

Special Requirement: Experience with handling VIP as an added advantageExperience with MAC IOS
