Job summary

PERSOL is seeking an IT Support Engineer with 1–4 years of experience to provide first-line (L1) technical support for IT systems, infrastructure, and end users during fixed night or day shifts. The role involves troubleshooting applications, hardware, networks, and manufacturing systems to ensure smooth IT operations across the business.

The position requires a diploma/degree in IT or CS and knowledge of Windows/Linux, networking, security concepts, and SQL queries.

Qualifications

• 1 to 4 years of experience in IT Helpdesk, Application Support, or End-User Support.
• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux environments, networking, security concepts, and SQL queries.
• Experience supporting MES, WMS, or manufacturing systems is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work night shift or day shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1 support for applications, systems, and end users, ensuring timely issue resolution or escalation.
• Serve as the first point of contact for hardware, software, printer, and system-related incidents.
• Perform initial troubleshooting for infrastructure and network issues and escalate when necessary.
• Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems, applications, and end-user devices.
• Monitor and support manufacturing systems such as MES and WMS.
• Execute routine IT operational, security, and audit activities during the shift.
• Maintain accurate documentation, asset records, and incident logs.

• Permanent shift (Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM) OR 12 hours 7pm to 7am(3-4 days in a week) OR 8:30 to 5:30 pm (Monday to Friday)
