Job summary

PERSOL Singapore is seeking an IT Support Engineer with 1 to 4 years of experience to provide first-line IT support for systems, infrastructure and end users during a fixed night shift or day shift.

The role covers troubleshooting across applications, hardware, networking and manufacturing systems, ensuring smooth IT operations and timely issue resolution. Candidates should have IT-related education and experience with MES/WMS are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT or related field.
• 1–4 years in IT helpdesk or end-user support.
• Basic Windows/Linux, networking, security concepts, and SQL queries.
• Experience with MES or WMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1 support for applications, systems and end users; resolve issues or escalate.
• Serve as first point of contact for hardware, software, printers and system incidents.
• Perform initial troubleshooting for infrastructure and network issues; escalate as needed.
• Support installation, configuration and maintenance of IT systems and end-user devices.
• Monitor and support manufacturing systems such as MES and WMS.
• Execute routine IT operations, security and audit activities during the shift.
• Maintain accurate documentation, asset records and incident logs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting application, hardware, network, and manufacturing system issues while ensuring smooth IT operations across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L1 support for applications, systems, and end users, ensuring timely issue resolution or escalation.
• Serve as the first point of contact for hardware, software, printer, and system-related incidents.
• Perform initial troubleshooting for infrastructure and network issues and escalate when necessary.

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 1 to 4 years of experience in IT Helpdesk, Application Support, or End-User Support.
• Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux environments, networking, security concepts, and SQL querie s.
• Experience supporting MES, WMS, or manufacturing systems is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive team player with a positive attitude and willingness to work independently.
• Permanent shift (Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM) OR 12 hours 7pm to 7am(3-4 days in a week) OR 8:30 to 5:30 pm (Monday to Friday)
